"Please be my new favorite restaurant in Port Orange"

Trust has always been a key component of guest loyalty for us. Without trust, there is no restaurant. No value exchange. A guest who visited our Filo #1 location on Dunlawton Avenue in Port Orange back in November of 2022, said that he truly hopes that we will be his "steady spot". The reason he stated this is because he was burned by restaurants in the past, where he was eventually mistreated as a commodity. That's where those restaurants lost his trust. Trust helps restaurants provide personalized experiences, foster guest loyalty, and build relationships.

Personalized Experience

It's no secret that our fast-casual restaurant allows guests to personalize their meal. Choose one of our bases, add a protein, enrich the meal with our fresh toppings, and finish it it off with a homemade sauce. However, it's not just about the food. It's about the fact that we can’t offer a truly personalized experience unless we get to know our guests better. And the only way to know more about our guests and their habits is if they allow us to know more. This can only be accomplished if we gain our guests' trust .

Foster Loyalty Trust and loyalty go hand in hand. If our guests notice that the restaurant is consistent with the value of the offer and improving the welcoming ambiance, those same guests will act as ambassadors for the Filo brand. They’ll also spread word-of-mouth referrals, and serve as our go-to sources for feedback.

Build Relationships

Guests' trust is worth the work because it leads to deeper relationships. And relationships is what contemporary guests want. Today's guests seek deeper connections with their preferred restaurants instead of just making repeat food orders from one. They no longer define brand loyalty as continuously buying food. In reality, close to 50% of guests today think that "brand loyalty" refers to an emotional bond with the restaurant. .

Food for Thought

If a restaurant, or any business for that matter that is located in Port Orange, the wider Daytona area, or anywhere in the world wants more value from the relationship with its clientele, then those restaurants have to understand Stephen Covey's (author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People) opinion that “trust is the highest form of human motivation. It brings out the very best in people. But it takes time and patience.”
